Academy Award for the Brown Marmorated Stink Bug?

Well, maybe not this year, but we may be in the running with the hiring of Jim Monahan, a videographer who plans to shoot half a dozen clips on how to recognize, trap, and manage brown marmorated stink bug (BMSB). Prior to joining the Northeastern IPM Center, Jim served as an associate producer for the Rutgers Center for Digital Filmmaking, where he produced films for public television and university websites. Now he is working with a consortium of 50 scientists and extension educators funded by USDA’s Specialty Crop Research Initiative to learn more, and share more, about the infamous BMSB. Stay updated at www.stopbmsb.org.
