The Tri-state Greenhouse IPM Program, an initiative between Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont, was started in 1995 to encourage growers to use integrated pest management (IPM) for production of greenhouse ornamentals and bedding plants. IPM is a multifaceted approach for managing pests to maximize suppression while reducing growers' losses and reliance on chemical pesticides. Education is a major focus of this program. The 3 states have joined forces to maximize on regional expertise and resources.
These workshops are for greenhouse growers of bedding plants and ornamental potted plants, extension specialists or professional pest managers. They are designed to provide practical information related to plant production. We hope that you will take advantage of these training workshops.
