Entrance Via Nursery Road (RECOMMENDED):

Northbound

From BWI Airport -- From airport ramp take I-195 to the BWI Parkway (MD-295 North). Continue to the West Nursery Road exit.  At end of exit, bear right onto Nursery Road. Go to first traffic light and turn left onto International Drive.   Go to first street and turn left onto Aero Drive. Proceed two blocks and through gate onto MITAGS property.

From BWI Amtrak -- At light turn left onto Rte #170 (Camp Meade Rd); continue on Rt 170 to I-195. Follow this to the BWI Parkway MD-295 North.  Follow MD-295 North to the West Nursery Road exit.  At end of exit, bear right onto West Nursery Road. Go to first traffic light and turn left onto International Drive.  Go to first street and turn left onto Aero Drive. Proceed two blocks and through gate onto MITAGS property.

From South via Baltimore/Washington Pkwy MD-295 -- Go North to the West Nursery Rd. exit, (just after BWI exit.)  Bear right at end of ramp, onto Nursery Road. Go to first accessible light and turn left onto International Drive.  Go to first street and turn left onto Aero Drive.  Proceed two blocks and through gate onto MITAGS property.

From South via I-95 -- Go North to I-195 East. Take I-195 East to MD-295 North. Proceed as in #3 above.

From South via Rte 3/301, I-97, Rte 2, I-10 -- Preferred) Go north to MD-100.  Go West to MD-295 North, then proceed as in #3 above.  (Alternative) Go North to Baltimore Beltway (I-695), Take I-695 West towards Baltimore / Towson, (not Key Bridge).  Take exit 7, Baltimore Washington Parkway South, then proceed as in #3 above.

1.      Southbound:

From MD-295 (Southbound) -- Go South on Baltimore Washington Parkway, MD-295 to the W. Nursery Rd. exit (first exit south of the I-695 Baltimore Beltway).   At end of ramp, turn left at the light on to West Nursery Road.  At third light (International Blvd.) turn left. Go to first street and turn left onto Aero Drive.   Proceed two blocks and through gate onto MITAGS property.

From North via I-95 using Ft. McHenry Tunnel -- Head South through Ft. McHenry Tunnel, stay on I-95 South to third exit after tunnel.  Take MD-295 Baltimore Washington Parkway South. Proceed as in #6 above.

From North via Beltway -- I-695 (South) I-83, I-70, I-95 -Take Baltimore Beltway (I-695 South towards Glen Burnie).  Take exit 7 South, Baltimore / Washington Parkway, MD-295. Proceed as in #6 above.

From Downtown Baltimore via I-395 -- Take I-395 South to I-95 South.   Exit left onto I-695 East (Glen Burnie).  Take exit 7 South, Baltimore / Washington Parkway, MD-295. Proceed as in #6 above.

Entrance Via Hammonds Ferry Road:

From Beltway I-695 coming from the East or South--Take exit 8, Nursery Rd / Hammonds Ferry Rd. At end of ramp bear right.  At first light turn right onto Nursery Rd.  Go to next traffic light and turn left onto Hammonds Ferry Rd.   Continue approximately 1/2 mile and turn right onto Maritime Blvd.  (There is a sign on the right.) (Please Note: this gate is closed from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM and during periods of Inclement Weather .

From Beltway I-695 coming from the West or North--Take exit 8, Hammonds Ferry / Nursery Rd. Turn left at the end of the exit (Hammonds Ferry Road). Continue straight, through the next traffic light (Nursery Road) and continue for approximately 1/2 mile. Turn right onto Maritime Blvd. (There is a sign on the right). (Please Note: this gate is closed from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM and during periods of Inclement Weather .

Once on the Maritime Institute Grounds - follow blue lines to visitor parking lots A, B, C or D.   Further directions may be obtained at the Front Desk, located in the South Tower Residence Building (Building #2)
