Call to Action!
Your chance to be part of the Center...

The Northeastern Integrated Pest Management Center seeks additional Advisory Council members. The Council members are folks who represent various perspectives on IPM and are willing to serve as a Center liaison with others who share their interests. Our current membership includes growers, researchers, educators, food suppliers, and many others. We’re particularly eager to strengthen the representation of environmental groups, but we welcome any suggestions our readers may have. Members are asked to attend an annual meeting and occasionally participate in discussions of Center issues via conference calls and e-mail.

If you are interested or would like to recommend someone you know, please contact Jim VanKirk by August 29 (phone: 315-787-2378).

The Northeastern Integrated Pest Management Center fosters the development and adoption of IPM, a science-based approach to managing pests in ways that generate economic, environmental, and human health benefits. We work in partnership with stakeholders from agricultural, urban, and rural settings to identify and address regional priorities for research, education, and outreach.
