Conservation Innovation Grants for 2007

The New York Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) requests applications for Conservation Innovation Grants (CIG) to stimulate the development and adoption of innovative conservation approaches and technologies. New York NRCS anticipates that the amount available for support of this program in Fiscal Year (FY) 2007 will be approximately $250,000, with individual grants not to exceed $75,000. Funds will be awarded through a statewide competitive grants process. There are two CIG categories available in FY 2007: Natural Resource Concerns and Technology. Applications are requested from eligible organizations (government or non-government) or individuals for competitive consideration of grant awards for projects between one and three years in duration. This notice identifies the New York CIG program objectives and eligibility criteria for projects, and provides application instructions.
