The Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education (SARE) program is now calling for preproposals for its Research and Education and Professional Development grants. A preproposal is a brief concept document that describes the project and is submitted electronically using a web-based template. The preproposal deadline for 2008 funds is May 31.

Here you can read descriptions of the 2007 projects funded by SARE or follow the "apply for grants" link to learn about the grant proposal process.
