Export services program -- Conduct inspections of plants and plant products, determine certifiable status, and issue certificate as applicable.

Exotic pest survey programs -- Conduct assigned plant pest, insect distribution or plant disease surveys. Provide technical support and supervision to seasonal employees working on pest surveys. Prepare reports, records and survey forms accurately, legibly and completely. Forward all required reports and related data to the appropriate office in a timely manner.

Maintain technical proficiency -- Maintain technical proficiency so that identification capabilities remain accurate, inspection procedures remain effective and efficient, and recommendations regarding control and prevention actions remain accurate.
