In May 73 scientists from 24 countries convened in Zurich Switzerland to discuss the latest in biological control application and research. The working group was sponsored by the International Organization of Biological Control.
Two scientists from the US attended; Carol Glenister of IPM Laboratories was one of them. She presented results from a 2005 NeSARE-funded trial that involved two university greenhouses and a commercial greenhouse.
Her study fit perfectly with the IOBC working group's focus: "Landscape Management for Functional Biodiversity."
