Disclose "Hazardous" inert ingredients in pesticides, petitions demand
Numerous states and environmental groups demand that all inert ingredients deemed hazardous under other statutes be identified by EPA in pesticide formulations, thus setting the stage for a future lawsuit. By grounding their argument in multiple environmental statutes, they believe a court could expand its analysis beyond FIFRA and thus strengthen their chance of success.
