Lawn Care Survey Seeks Input from New York Residents

Cornell Cooperative Extension Community Horticulture and NYS Community IPM are eager to understand the lawn care practices of residents. In cooperation with local county extension staff and Master Gardener Volunteers they are surveying people with lawns in NYS. Their brief 2007 lawn survey centers on gathering responses that help gain an understanding of the lawn mowing practices citizens currently employ. The survey accompanies a campaign to help citizens achieve lawn care success through good mowing practices that focus on maintaining sharp mower blades on their highest setting. An on-line version of the short survey can be viewed (and taken if you have a lawn in NYS) by clicking the survey link on Cornell Gardening Resources: Lawn ().Currently the survey is available only to NYS residents. Contact Lori Bushway (ljb7@cornell.edu) if you would be interested in collaborating to extend the survey to your state.
