PCT Online - Cindy Mannes Discusses Pest Management Month Initiatives

As part of National Pest Management Month which runs through the end of April PPMA has been working on a series of initiatives to raise the public's awareness of the pest control industry's contribution to society. These include: the launch of http://www.whatisipm.org/ a Web site dedicated to educating consumers about IPM; the Pathways to Pest Professions an educational initiative to generate career interest in the pest management industry among high school students; the launch of PPMA's annual TV and radio ad blitz; and a national public service announcement campaign.
