Glades Crop Care, Inc, Jupiter, Florida, has an immediate opportunity for an individual who wants to excel and train to become a leader in professional crop research. The position offers the opportunity to manage efficacy and GLP field trials as a principal investigator and to assist of management of two research farms. Additionally, this position offers the opportunity to train and learn with leading vegetable/citrus consultants throughout the southeast.

Glades Crop Care, Inc., the foremost independent crop consulting company in the United States in Integrated Pest Management, has provided valuable, science-based information to growers for 35 years and is nationally recognized for advocating innovative, sustainable solutions for grower clients. It is the recipient of the first National IPM Achievement Award and the only 5 time Champion Award winner for EPAs Pesticide Environmental Stewardship Program.

Our consultants advise grower clients on over 40 different crops including tomato, pepper, potato, sweet corn, lettuce, cucumbers, citrus, rice, turf and ornamentals. In addition to IPM consulting, Glades Crop Care, Inc. has an extensive contract research department and food safety education & auditing services.

Responsibilities include:

Manage efficacy and GLP field trials and projects

Assistance in the management of research farm facilities

Integrated Pest Management scouting on multiple crops

Proficiency in research trial software

Utilize equipment such as company vehicles, ATV's, traditional farm equipment and GIS/GPS equipment.

Requirements include:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
