This position offers training with leading vegetable/citrus consultants and potential for advancement. Our consultants advise grower clients on over 40 different crops including tomato, pepper, potato, sweet corn, lettuce, cucurbits, citrus, rice, turf and ornamentals. In addition to IPM consulting, Glades Crop Care, Inc. has an extensive contract research department and food safety education & auditing services.

Responsibilities include:

* Integrated Pest Management scouting with cross training on multiple crops.

* Identify production problems and chemical and biological solutions related to the IPM service.

* Knowledge about many pests and diseases and potential damages.

* Knowledge & client advocacy of resistance management, IPM preventative practices and usage of reduced risk pesticides

* Utilize equipment such as company vehicles, ATV's and GIS/GPS equipment.

* Assist in research projects.

Requirements include:

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
