Description This paper reports on a prospective study on pesticide exposure among pregnant women, paraoxonase (PON1) polymorphisms and enzyme activity, and infant growth and neurodevelopment. The results suggested that pesticides may have a bigger detrimental effect on infants of mothers with low PON1 activity.
