Description Compared to parents in other inner-city neighborhoods, parents in the Bronx were more likely to report cockroaches and mice in their homes and their children were more likely to be sensitized to indoor allergens. Bronx parents also reported higher parental stress and more pessimistic viewpoints on controlling asthma.
