Description Highlights 1.In early adulthood L. delicatula exhibited much plant-to-plant flight activity. 2.Flight-dispersing adults had thin, black abdomens. 3. Longer straight-line descending flights became more common through September. 4. Post-flight-dispersal adults in late September had swollen, yellowed abdomens. 5. Mating pairs only observed after abdomens had become yellow and swollen.
