Augmentative Biocontrol
The Augmentative Biocontrol Working Group was established in 2023 following a grant from the Northeast IPM Center. Comprising members from eight states and Washington, D.C., the group includes representatives from institutions, businesses, and government agencies. The primary objective is to identify information gaps and barriers to the adoption of augmentative biological control among growers. Since its formation, the group has met monthly to compile available resources, assess missing information, and develop new materials. The ultimate goal is to enhance the Cornell CALS Biocontrol website by providing a comprehensive, step-by-step guide for indoor growers looking to implement their own augmentative biocontrol programs.
